Meet Dr. Oconer

Education:

Dr. Oconer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in fine arts from LeMoyne College.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.  After graduating in the top one third of her class she then completed a year of advanced general dental practice residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center with a focus on emergency care and hospital-based patients.

Personal:

Dr. Oconer has resided and practiced dentistry in the Flemington area since 1999.  She is passionate about dentistry and improving people’s lives by helping them to achieve the smile that they always wanted.  She has an artistic and meticulous approach in creating great smiles.  She works directly with each patient to create a personalized plan that is right for them.  Whether it is creating better aesthetics or improving functionality, Dr. Oconer takes great pride in her work and loves to see patients enjoy the final result.  Dr. Oconer believes in building trust and long-lasting relationships with her patients and it is common to see three generations of families within her practice.
Dr. Oconer is very involved in her community with volunteering and supporting organizations and her local church.  She enjoys going to local schools to teach children about dental health and proper dental care.  She loves to support her young patients by attending and sponsoring their school fundraisers and sports teams, and is often seen cheering them on at their events.  She is also proud to support her children’s schools as a homeroom parent for the past 6 years.
When Dr. Oconer is not at work, she enjoys physical fitness and spending time with her husband, two busy sons, and family.  They enjoy the simple things in life but their absolute favorite is taking road trips and visiting Major League Baseball stadiums and catching a game!
